We are pleased, proud and very excited to announce that the wonderful Irish singer Cara Dillon, accompanied by husband and musical partner Sam Lakeman, will be performing at the Somborne Sessions on 24th February 2018.

Also, new gig just announced: Lively Somerset duo The Drystones will be appearing on 7th April 2018.

Cara Dillon

Born in Dungiven in 1975, surrounded and infused with the rich cultural heritage of her native County Derry, Cara has risen to become one of the finest exponents of traditional Irish song anywhere in the world. Possessing a rare and unique voice, Cara is celebrated for entwining traditional and contemporary elements, and has earned both commercial success and astonishing critical acclaim.

The Drystones

Two twenty-one year olds from Somerset playing a lively mix of original compositions and their own spirited interpretations of traditional tunes. Very accomplished on violin, guitar and whistle, they were Steve Lamacq's "recommendation of the day" at Glastonbury 2013. For just two people they make a lot of sound!
